Kristin Larson, EdS. 

Kristin is a school psychologist and works as a psychometrist for Simply Psychology, LLC, testing children for gifted identification and learning disabilities. She earned her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from Biola University in California and her Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Arizona. She is a certified school psychologist in the state of Arizona and works in a local school district. 

Kristin is a professional member of the Arizona Association of School Psychologists and National Association of School Psychologists. Her experience includes working with children ages 3-18. Kristin’s passion lies in assessing students through formal and informal measures to identify students’ strengths and needs. She is well-versed in a variety of gold standard measures within the cognitive, social/emotional, academic, and adaptive behavior realms. 

Previous work experience which has included working as a cognitive neuroscientist research assistant, an educator for students with Autism, and an office assistant in a psychiatric office have helped her identify the importance of communication, collaboration, empathy, positivity, and confidentiality.
